Diary of a (secondline) clinicianEvery war has it's syndrome. Or so I've been told. It seems we are at war once again, though with our county of Australia currently a combatant in both the War in Afghanistan and the War on ISIL, perhaps all we're really doing is opening up a home front. This front against a different enemy, unseen to be sure, but at war we are, and as with any war some will feel it more than others.
Amidst the interminable meetings, changing of test criteria so fast we can't keep up, concerns about lack of personal protective equipment (PPE), and good old social distancing, one thing is clear, at least in these early days. We are all now very familiar with exponential graphs. Can't say the same for graphs with logarithmic axes. No, that's a lesson for another war, one thing at a time...
